logo development Process
Phase 1:
After an initial consultation with the client, I begin researching the project. The preliminary stage includes completition of questionnaires by the client which enables me to better understand their business and vision.  Simultaneously, I explore the overall field of business by looking up different logos and brand identity themes. This stage also includes brainstorming to get my creative "juices" flowing.
Maximize is a home organization and time management coaching business. For this project, my research consisted of exploring both the home organizing and coaching industries to get a sense of their visual tones, with the hopes of being able to draw some sort of common denominator between the two fields. In addition, I also brainstormed to generate my own creative concepts.

Phase 2 :
My research is completed when I feel that I have gained insight into the field and its overall brand look.  Then, I move on to hand sketches which are the first visual conceptualization of the brand identity.
With this specific project, I had difficulty arriving at a defined brand look because most of the logos seemed to have a very "homemade" feel to them. That being the case, instead, I worked to generate modern original visual concepts for Maximize to best portray my client's brand core values.
Phase 3:
After the sketching stage, I work to digitize my ideas and prepare them for a preliminary client presentation.
For Maximize my digital sketching yielded 4 solid options to be presented to the client.
Phase 4:
Once my sketches are digitized I meet with the client to present logo options and plan for the next steps.   As part of the review process, the client is given the opportunity to request changes and modifications to the logo of their choosing.
At this stage, my client had a pretty clear sense of their preferred logo but requested some additional time to solicit outside opinions.  Concurrently, I worked on some revisions that enabled the client to get a more detailed vision and brand identity for her selected logo.
Phase 5 :
In this final stage, I present the client with their completed logo and brand guide that facilitates the future usage of their logo
